Evan Livingston never wanted to be only one thing, he’s bored by the repetition of a singular identity. His outlook is tempered with a touch cynicism or skepticism. 

After studying sound art, he graduated with a degree in music composition. But instead he chose to spend the majority of his time chasing technology and design shaped problems, for nearly a decade. 

More recently, he has turned his attention to less tangible questions. He is frustrated with the mundane and the spectacular. He is concerned with, and often afraid of, water, technology, processes and tension. He is inspired by those things that pass through your senses like those tiny grains of sand that pour through your hands because your knuckles prevent your fingers from being able to contain the smallest grains.

His focus is currently on preserving and capturing ephemera and the impossibility of that task.
